  • The Navarre club, with the help of One Fan, will make a large amount of content available to supporters through its website, app and OTT, with users able to access a fully personalised space.
  • The project, which aims to simplify processes and to improve understanding of the user in order to offer a better experience, has been supported by LALIGA and Boost LALIGA.

CA Osasuna are taking a big step forward in terms of digitalisation. The Navarre club, by working together with One Fan, a leading company in the sports industry and in fan loyalty strategies, has put together a project with which it aims to change the way it interacts with supporters. This will provide them with exclusive content, special advantages and a unique way of experiencing their passion for Los Rojillos at the digital level, with the club adapting to the changing consumption habits of their followers and the new ways of interacting with content.

With this, CA Osasuna will simplify access for fans who use the app, available on Google Play and the App Store, as well as those engaging with the club’s website and other club platforms. This simplification consists of facilitating access through one single log-in and password for the entire digital ecosystem. It should be noted that this way of interacting with fans will provide the club with a large amount of data on its followers, which will enable it, after analysis, to offer them a unique service that is better suited to their tastes.

One of the most attractive features of this project is an innovative OTT platform, where users will be able to find exclusive videos and watch live broadcasts of youth and women’s team games. That should, undoubtedly, increase fan engagement and create a greater brand image. In addition, CA Osasuna have presented an innovative loyalty programme, with which users will be able to earn points that can be accumulated to win exclusive experiences.

Philosophy of design is the study of assumptions, foundations, and implications of design. The field is defined by an interest in a set of problems, or an interest in central or foundational concerns in design. In addition to these central problems for design as a whole, many philosophers of design consider these problems as they apply to particular disciplines (e.g. philosophy of art). Although most practitioners are philosophers, several prominent designers and artists have contributed to the field. Graphic design has seen many changes and influences.

The field needs more depth, in a sense graphic design needs to find itself, all while evolving at the same time. It’s debatable how the background of graphic design needs to be shared. There’s the discussion of different designers, and their notable works. Portrayals of how the physical art has changed and been inspired by past all while embracing the future.

Graphic Design as a field is young. There is not enough information about how it came to be. There is subtle information about society accepting messages being put in front of them. There’s not enough information given to design students about where the concept for graphic design comes from, or at least an understanding about the original forms of communications that used more than words, or why typography has such a large impact.

Regarding the agreement with One Fan for the creation of this innovative digital ecosystem, CA Osasuna have partnered with a company that specialises in fan loyalty and digital strategy, working with the multinational RelationShip Management, which is a leader in its sector in Brazil and the United States and which already boasts agreements with Brazilian football clubs such as Flamengo and São Paulo, who have large fanbases.

At the club they are pleased to have struck this agreement with One Fan and to be able to satisfy one of the great demands of the fans. The club said: “It was clear to us that it was time to start a new and more ambitious digital project, one in which we look to provide our members and fans with a better-quality service. This was a process we were going to have to face at some point and, thanks to the support of LALIGA and Boost LALIGA, we have been able to undertake it a little earlier than we had planned.”

They also stressed that this development will allow the club to get to know the tastes of their fans, meaning they can provide them with content according to their preferences. The club continued: “It was important for us to construct an ecosystem that was related and that would allow us to trace the behaviour of each fan with respect to our content. This data will help us to understand what they want and to offer differentiated content according to the degree of involvement that each fan has with the club. Data means giving names and surnames to those who follow us, it means knowing what they like about what we do and what they don’t like, it means being able to ask them directly, it means being able to reward them because we know who they are and that they are on our app every day. Obviously, this must improve our income and create new business opportunities, but all of this must always be a consequence of the above, of offering a better service.”

When asked about the loyalty programmes and the prizes that users of this ecosystem will receive, the club explained that they want to reward their most loyal followers. They said: “A person who is a club member, who makes purchases from the club shop, who uses our app, who interacts with us, who participates in our games and who watches the women’s team matches on our OTT is not the same as someone who simply checks our app from time to time.”

That high level of interaction is precisely what they want to reward, by offering all kinds of unique experiences, from physical discounts to digital rewards, meetings with players and more. They want to ensure that the supporters who are very involved with CA Osasuna feel rewarded.

One Fan’s International Business Director, João Pedro Castilhos, also highlighted his satisfaction with the partnership. Speaking to the club’s media, he said: “We are proud to work with CA Osasuna on this. The project consists of a completely new digital ecosystem, where the fan will be the primary actor. The whole project is designed and created for fans, so that they can interact, have good experiences, and access all the club’s services and information in a single system. We have experience with big clubs in Brazil, such as Corinthians, São Paulo and Flamengo, which are huge clubs, and we want to transfer all that experience to CA Osasuna.”
